Description

Discover the Magic Answer Orb, your new go-to source for life's big questions. Ideal for those who relish a sprinkle of mystery in their daily decisions.

The Magic Answer Orb is a crafted experience. As you fold each piece, aligning the text with precision, you're not just assembling a toy but creating a mystic artifact. The default palette of stark black with grey and white text ensures readability and intrigue, though your personal flair can guide your color choices, ensuring every orb is as unique as its owner. Ideal for the decision-maker, the curious soul, or anyone in between, this orb doesn’t just answer questions—it sparks imagination and debate.

Magic Answer Orb Gameplay Guidelines

  • Formulate Your Question: Initiate play by thinking of a yes-or-no question that the Orb can respond to with a yes or no.
  • Activate the Orb: With your question in mind, gently roll the Orb to shuffle its responses.
  • Reveal the Answer: Once the Orb comes to a halt, observe the message displayed on its uppermost face.
  • Understand the Response: The Orb's replies fall into three categories:
    • Affirmative: For example, “Yes definitely”, “It is certain”.
    • Non-committal: For example, “Reply hazy, try again”, “Focus and ask again”.
    • Negative: For example, “Don’t count on it”, “My sources say no”.
  • Seeking Clarity: Should the Orb provide a non-committal answer, contemplate your question further. After a brief pause, roll the Orb again to seek a more definitive response.

Thank you for this! (and thank you for making it A1-mini sized) I'm making it as a birthday present for my mom, who loves to make flex orbs out of paper. Would it be possible to make a smaller version of your original decorative flex orbs for printing on the A1 mini?

Thanks for the note and picture. Did you print it by pausing manually to change the color or do you have the AMS? I’m just curious if anyone is successfully doing the pause technique. I do plan on eventually converting them all to fit on the A1-mini and will try to get to it soon.

I've converted one of the Flex Orbs for the A1 Mini print bed.
