This is the longest Dragon I have made so far and is a Flare Dragon inspired by, you guessed it, fire. It sits at about 26.5 inches long!
Very likely could be printed with no supports, but because of the way the shoulder joint is I recommend painting on small manual supports to give the naked link, with little plate contact, some stabilization. The print profiles have it painted on and they are extremely easy to pull off, not something to be worried about. Green/blue and white of the eyes painted on.
Note: some links are very close and may require a little wiggling to separate.
This is for printing private use only. If you are interested in selling this dragon, please purchase the commercial version ( one time purchase- sell forever) here at this cults link: Articulated Flare Dragon (Commercial Use)
I want to print multicolor but I don't want all of the waste:
I printed the multicolor flare dragon with the prime tower, and 4 purge/flush object infinity cubes (we have kids and they have friends so not waste to us), and successfully got the filament waste down to 33g. I also changed my flush volumes (in the filament section).
How do I make a flush object?
Turn on prime tower, have the object that is multicolored already painted on the plate, and the object(s) to purge to. right click on the object to purge to and select flush into. At slicer preview, you will see the lines on the object.
