Description
I thought I could get away with a meme description but more people are interested in printing this model than what I though and have some issue for resin, so here's how I printed it :)
RESIN tips and tricks for this model:
1- Use the high res version if possible, this way you'll get all the details and maximum smoothness on the petals
2 - lift the model a bit and support the rim like this: don't forget to leave at least one hole on the bottom to let air escape, otherwise, it creates a suction cup on the fep and will always fail.
3 - Then support the underside a bit, this is to ensure we have enough support beams to handle the fep sticking force and make the print more steady thorough the print.
4 - Then don't forget to parent and brace, to make sure all the supports will be extra steady and save a little bit on resin
5 - Finally, here's my exposure settings, notice how over-exposed they are? that's to make sure potential islands are swallowed by UV light bleed (I know, not the best, but this model was a super pain to print and after cracking the exposure it prints perfectly without loss of details - especially since it's mostly smooth surfaces and curves, light bleed is not too annoying) - FYI these are community settings I just pasted, usually I have 2 sec exposure for minis
