Description

My entry for the ‘Amazing Precision’ 0.2mm nozzle contest.

Looking for more GYROID (I mean, who isn't?), check out my popular Bambu Lab reusable spool holders:

-----

This coaster uses an extremely fine layer width to lay down the thin gyroid pattern. This is pretty much as thin as you can go without major issues. The pattern works great as a liquid reservoir so cups don't stick to the coaster.

The ultra thin lines means it's not as strong as other coaster designs, but that's not the point! The point is to show that the 0.2mm nozzle is capable of laying down usable infill of just 0.11mm wide. Also GYROID.

If you press too hard it will break, but it does a surprisingly good job of holding cups or mugs (heat is a no-no).

Simple color change at layer allows for 2 colors without much fuss. No prime tower used as there's only 1 color change. No issues with my test prints.

Scale up as you please. You shouldn't need to change anything.

If you want more gyroid, increase the infill percentage, just note that you will see less of the background color.

Please post your pics if they come out great!
