Masters of the Universe is a line of toys created by Mattel in 1981, consisting of a collection of action figures, with accompanying accessories, vehicles, and playsets. The line was supported by an animated series, as well as a series of comics. The toys were extremely well-received, running through 1987 with several waves of releases.
