Hey guys, for this contest I've wanted to break away from the standard desing of a lamp creating something eye catching. I've chosen to carry out a replica of a rose window placed in Mayorca, called the Gotchic eye, which is considered the largest in Europe and the second one in the world. 

It's imposing size of 14 meters and the elaborate ornamentation makes it breathtaking and one of the most outstanding art works of the gothic period. 

That's why I decided to make this desing, not only because it's an iconic piece of art but also I really like to try out a new type of material and which kind of similarity I can achive with a real stained glass. And at the end it teh result has been incredible. 

I challenge you to print it and see how it turns out. 

ATTENTION: this desing it's thought to be realize in translucent pla or crystal pla, using primary colors, to create an effect close to real stained glass.

¡Hola chicos! Para este concurso he querido alejarme del diseño estándar de una lámpara creando algo llamativo.

He decidido llevar a cabo una réplica de un rosetón ubicado en Mallorca, llamada el Ojo Gótico, que se considera el más grande de Europa y el segunda en el mundo. 

Su imponente tamaño de 14 metros y la elaborada ornamentación la hacen impresionante y una de las obras de arte más destacadas del período gótico.

Por eso decidí hacer este diseño, no solo porque es una pieza icónica de arte, sino también porque realmente me gusta probar un nuevo tipo de material y ver qué tipo de similitud puedo lograr con un auténtico vitral. Y al final el resultado ha sido increíble.

ATENCION: este diseño esta pensado para realizarlo con PLA translucido (PLA crystal) de colores primarios, para crear el mayor efecto posible a vidriera.
