Description

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN ON-GOING MODEL WITH CONTINIOUS IMPROVEMENTS!

23-02-2024: I added a light weight version, with a hollowed out bottom to reduce filament consumption.

22-02-2024 - I scaled up the model slightly, as it was a little tight with the m18 battery wings/locks.

I made this milwaukee-themed battery holder. (those batteries tend to get HEAVY).

So i made this six-pack-version, and it holds 6 x M18 batteries and 4 x m12 batteries.

Please print with the needed supports.

Hope you like it :)

I printed it, and batterys M18 doesn’t fit 😭 if you put them with force, to get it out you spend few minutes 🤦🏻

I'm sorry to hear that.. It fit my m18's without any issues.. The solution could be for you to scale it up by 1-1,5% maybe in the y-axsis to make the groves a little wider..

i like the print. i printed the file the day after you removed it and put it back up. before the hollowed out version. i noticed the m18 batteries are pretty tight still. hard to pull out. any fixes for that coming?

Hi. I'm glad you like it. 😊 The version I put out last, printed out perfectly on my own printer according to fit. So if it's still a little tight on yours, I would recommend to just to scale the whole model up by 0,5-1% max in maybe only in the y-axsis.. That should fix the issue.

Love this idea. Could you make it nest into the packout system?

I'm working on adding this to maker world. It locks in to the packout system.

M18s dont fit. Printed logo and that doesnt fit in either. The m12s work fine. I also tried printing the hollow version and it wouldnt work. The layers kept messing up for me early into the print. The main one on top printed fine though.

Hmm.. That's weird. Have you tried scaling up the model by 0,1 or 0,2 percent maybe? I have gotten plenty of responds of the model fitting quite nicely..
