Description

This paper pot press is a simple tool that can be used to create small pots from newspaper or other types of paper. The press consists of two pieces, a base, and a cylinder.

To use the press, you first cut a strip of paper that is long enough to wrap two times around the cylinder and wide enough to create the desired pot height. You then wrap the paper strip around the cylinder and fold it over the bottom of the cylinder. The bottom of the cylinder is the side with the notch.

Next, you press down on the base to compress the paper.

Once the paper is compressed, you can remove it from the press. The paper pot is now ready to be filled with potting soil and seeds.

Here are again the steps on how to use a paper pot press:

  1. Cut a strip of paper that is long enough to wrap around the cylinder and wide enough to create the desired pot height.
  2. Wrap the paper strip around the cylinder and fold it over the bottom of the cylinder.
  3. Press down on the base to compress the paper.
  4. Remove the paper from the press
  5. Fill the paper pot with potting soil and seeds.

Paper pot presses are a great way to reduce waste and create sustainable pots for your plants. They are also a fun and easy project that can be done with children.
