Happy belated Easter!

For the ones that tried without success to print a good King kong but couldn't.

You can find the new file called “the extreme arm saver” in my print profiles.

There will be seams visible (that's why it is an extreme solution) but with some putty and glue I know someone of you will make wonders.

Hi everybody,

I woke up to this perfect (except for the color) strongly supported Kink Kong.
See it as the super radioactive version...

Whoever had problems with weak supports can use the new version print profile.

I changed it directly in the files uploaded before.

Sorry again for the inconvenience but I didn't have any problems (maybe for luck) with the other version of the print profile.

I hope you like this Kong I sculpted to match the Godzilla sculpture or to be displayed alone.

He is 13 cm tall as the Godzilla.

We are uploading two profiles, one in single colour and one with the eyes colored.

If you decide to print it bigger you will be able to color the teeth and the gums in the Bambu slicer as these are separated objects.

I printed Kong with Bambu mat pla (black) but would be also amazing in a dark grey or brown too.

This print would have been a 5 star print all the way but as mentioned in another comment the left arm was lying on the print plate and looks like the right arm tried to follow! 😢He’s too cool tho so I do hope he gets repaired!!🤞🥰

I'm not sure why it is working fine sometimes and sometimes not. It is a support problem. Nothing to be repaired in the model. I'll upload a new print profile asap. Sorry for the inconvenient.

Thank you for replying and trying a new upload! I attempted a second print with bambu lab brown…right arm turned out great but same thing on the left arm. And yes, I do believe it’s a support issue….next time I will go thru slicer and just add a few along the back side of left arm and direct under that elbow and I imagine it’ll be fine!

It printed fine but there was a malfunction on his arm. I don’t think it was the print profile so I still give it 5 Stars. I’m gonna pose it with Godzilla and it’s gonna look like his arm got ripped off🤣

hey thanks, now I know that I need to swap to stronger supports in the print profile. I didn't have problems with mine but better to upgrade!

I printed this twice but for some reason I kept on getting the left arm detchad and fell. not sure why though as I checked on the slicer everything is normal. nonetheless, really great creation though. kudos for the maker!

check @printcells profile or the one I uploaded with cut arms. Unfortunately the profile you used works perfectly for someone but not with others (and still I don't know why).
