This pack is dedicated to the men who served and fought during the First Chechen war of 1994-96.
For first part of this theme I've tried to portray the troops on the march, patrol, or manning the blockpost - activities you can often hear about from vets.
In terms of weapons, i chose the iconic classics of the era, from AK-74 to PKM. A fresh addition to arsenal is RPK-74 light machinegun, offering a middle ground between assault rifle and GPMG.
Gear-wise I've tried to stick to photo references i found suitable, as well as memoirs of veterans I've read. Therefore I've decided to sculpt two models not wearing any sort of armor as it was a common thing.
Each model consists of interchangeable head, torso and legs and hands with ball joints.
These models are made with 28mm scale in mind, however i've found them to be perfectly printable in 1/72 as well (as long as you use resin printer)!
In addition to STL files you will also find a Chitubox pre-supported projects i've used for test-printing.
