Description

A toolbox case for the A1 and A1 Mini that replaces the old cardboard box. The only assembly needed is to snap the plastic tray into the container. I'm super happy with how this turned out, especially how clean the design on the lid is (taken from the old packaging).

Update I: I tightened the fit of the lid.

Update II: I slightly loosened the fit of the lid so it can be opened more easily.

Happy printing!

Bambu Studio is confusing, I loaded this project and am using the AMS Lite, but in the process each plate only has one color. How do I edit the filaments for each plate?

You should be able to see the second color if you look at the bottom of the parts.

Yea I want to change the RED to use WHITE instead but I don't see a second color anywhere to do that. IF you look at the two plates only one has blue yet both plates have blue in them same with the red, only one plate shows RED but it's used in both plates.

You should be able to change the red to white by clicking on the square:

this was my second print ever, I didn't change any settings and it looks pretty good. the table I have it on is wobbly a bit and the lid still snaps perfect on this.

Printed this but the lid does not seat down into the box at all, the bottom of the lid is sitting on top of the little notches that are protruding inside. The box is empty I have not put the plastic tray inside of it yet. The lid just doesn't fit.

Looks like the lid is warped, not hitting the tabs. Put it on a heated build plate (75C) and hold it flat while it cools. That should make the lid sit flush.

It looks like that cause my fingers are squeezing on one end causing it to pop up trying to hold it up for the camera. I even cut out the little tabs inside and it still will not sit flush into the hole of the base.

That gap is intentional, there’s a chamfer on the bottom of the lid so you can take it off with your fingernail.

I’ve found that it’s better to let the bed completely cool before taking the print off. I’ll put that in the description.
