I really liked haitonno's design for this drill dust collector, but for some reason, it was "upside down" from what my Dyson would need. So, I flipped the button/lid around. Much better.

I printed in 0.3 resolution, and the button broke almost immediately - so probably print it in 0.2 to be safe.

How can this work? Look at the model, there is no hole where the dyson can suck. It's sealed. You see it in the model. I was so stupid and just printed it, and saw it after. This is not a joke is it?

I don't think you need to break anything. The pathway for the air is split in 2. The dust should get sucked through the hexagons. The outer area is so that the device will stick to the wall via suction. I think adding some sort of rubber will make a much better seal against the wall. I am printing my remix now, so I will let you know how it goes. EDIT: Works better than expected. No rubber seal added. Nothing removed. Suction is strong enough to hold itself to the wall, with plenty of air still being sucked through the haxagon holes to remove any dust created by drilling. Remixed to slot directly into a Dyson DC08 without the locking parts.

Not sure if I did something wrong, but I didn't see the support in the middle which was tricky to clear. It worked a little, but wasn't able to capture all the mess. As a model though, its a great fit and looks the business. I'm going to keep using it even though it doesn't work perfectly.
