Description

Bracket for hanging Govee Curtain Lights H70B1.

10 brackets are needed to hang each set of lights and they can be extended to support multiple sets. The light spacing is 73mm, but if you have a set where the down strand was attached at significantly less than this, they are designed to scale horizontally. Mine were all 71 - 75 mm and didn't need any scaling.

I used large Command Strips to attach these to my garage door on every other bracket (which is probably excessive). The bracket height is designed to take 2 large command strips vertically if you need for extra strength at the ends. Leave a 1 - 2 mm between each bracket for horizontal thermal expansion, especially if installing a 5 meter (15 ft) length. Failing to do this could cause the center bracket to bow away from the command strips on hot days.

They stay secure when a garage door opens / closes, with the top tab stopping them moving when the garage door is open.

I printed in ASA as my garage door gets a lot of direct sun and it's 80F here, but PLA should be fine in cooler climates. You can get 6 brackets on standard sized Bambu plates. For my 3 sets of Govee lights, my X1C used 500g filament / 14h of print time / 5 plates.
