Description

Bambu Boeing 737

Prepared to be able to print on a single table, preferably with ams.

This was designed to be assembled and glued.

I made the STL of the fully assembled model available if you want to make a support stand.
If you have any problems or suggestions for improvements to this project, please leave them in the comments.

In the photos you can find the corresponding mounting location for each specific STL.

Thanks

Pretty good print file! I modified it to be a P8 Poseidon which is a modified 737. Thanks for uploading this!

I was a little disappointed when I didn't get all the parts. Then I realized I clicked on you thing that only printed those parts. so I'm giving you a four since the parts that did print are pretty good

Turned out good. To save material change time, painted the windows.

Trying to print the two fuselage sections and getting spaghetti every time. Upon close inspection in Bambu Studio, these parts in are not vertical, and only touch the bed on one corner. If you add support (which should not be necessary for these objects), you'll see it adds support under each (flat!) section of fuselage. Looks like a great model, looking forward to finishing the print.

To correct it on the piece AF, slice 0.2mm from the bottom of the file, it then sits flat on the plate. For the AT piece, use the "Lay of Face" icon and click under the piece, it will again sit perfectly.

Great model, but poorly optimized for the AMS. The all in one build plate takes an insane amount of time and wastes almost twice as much filament as it uses for the model. Reorienting the fuselage and printing it separately brings the total to less than two hours and a negligible waste. Great model though and the results came out fantastic without any post processing.

Support Issue:I really like this model, but there were some serious problems that required considerable tinkering to resolve. The most serious issue was that the fuselage bottom surface on the front half was not truly flat, so no matter what it required supports at the bottom. I resolved this by splitting off the uneven section.
