Description

This is a table top rack mount spool holder designed to be good looking, easy to print, and easy to assemble. It utilizes 1" PVC pipe, and you can make the pipes as long or short as you want to fit your space. The pipes simply press fit into place. 1" PVC pipe is widely available at your local hardware store and won't break the bank.

 

You should glue the top and bottom halves together with super glue or at least hot glue. If you use hot glue, use a generous portion on the protruding part.

really like the simple but elegant design. was a quick 8.5 hour print total using under 1kg of filament. I had to adjust the holes, since I used 1 1/4 pvc (from another spool holder project I decided not to do). turned out great! awesome design.

Why is remixing not allowed? This shelf is too big to print on a 220x220 build volume. And if re-sized to fit - no longer fits a 1" PVC pipe. Also you say to use a 1" PVC pipe, but which sch? Most common size is 1", Sch 40

Turned out great I cut the top part off to make it fit in some unused cabinets.
