Description

This is a faithful reproduction of the famous LOEWE OE333 radio. The device contained the 3NF triple triode. This tube is considered to be the world's first integrated circuit. The few remaining devices are coveted and rare collector's items.
Now everyone has the chance to own an OE333. Simply print one out for yourself.

The model is also equipped with lighting to simulate the glow of the tube. For this purpose, there is a holder for a small LED tea light in the tube base similar to this:

For ambitious hobbyists, there is also a slot on the underside in which a sound module with radio recordings from the 1920s and 1930s can be accommodated. I have used this one:

You find a step model for the soundmodul slot in the files. So you can easily change the design to your own needs.

I have designed all parts with additional tolerance, so that they can easily be assembled. The rotating spool holder on the back may be a little loose. In this case, simply clamp some paper or tape around the shaft to keep it tight.

A print template for the type plate and the rotary scale can be found in the attached PDF.

Thanks to my wife for the realistic painting :-)
