Description

Hey, Remix fan. Yes, it's a new and improved version.

Well, what's new?

First, This is what starts the remix. It is to add 2 more holes to move up another 14mm. That is for the ones with a shroud over the fan grill. This version has 10mm clear for your flanges.

While at it, I added a similar guiding tube / disconnect tool on the injector tube. This way, all PTFEs are lined up and guided. No disconnect tools are needed. It's just there and easy to disconnect.

OK, Moving up opens a space, and it's fugly. Then I extend a cover for it… And yes, there was room to improve the wires management. Make things better. It's always better. :-)

And finally, like a cherry on top of the Sunday, I made a flag with my name in white. It makes it sharp…

One step back. I did have to put back the original AMS Hub cover. The one I printed before has 0.530mm too low me-aligning everything, and it can't be with the injector tube. I did contact @tenminuteteck to let him know. If he's repairing is a little hiccup, I'll gladly bring it back. I did like it a lot. He put much work into it, and it's cool.

And yes, something is coming for the one who doesn't have an AMS Hub.

Well, download it, print it, and be problem-free. (or a little less pain…)

I have had duck a difficult time the last couple weeks with multicolor printing. Got ahold of support, and they gave me a cookie cutter response and haven’t replied in nearly a week. Printed every upgrade they recommended, replaced all PTFE tubing, cleaned all internals, but nothing complete resolved the issue. I installed this early today, and I have not had a single retraction error yet, and I completed two multicolor prints, and an further along than I B ever got with an R2-D2 print I’ve been trying to complete. I cannot recommend this upgrade enough. Thank you so much for putting the time and effort into this, and especially for sharing it with the community.

Hey EricEJ, Wow, excellent review. Put that on FB with the picture and a link ;-) Good job printing it and installing it. I like the clear PETg. You should remove the extra guide (Black piece). I may make the guide float sideways and cause trouble in time. I design that just for that alignment issue in loading and color change. I also added a chamfer to the end of the PTFE to make sure stiff and curved filament won't get cut. I'm very happy I could make your life easier.

Removed the black piece this morning, and shared the link on a Bambu Facebook group. Hopefully it helps others as much as it helped me. Thanks again.

That looks like 1 million dollars... Wha! Ha Ha! !?!?! What? One Billion dollars ;-) Hey, remove that green thing. It's unnecessary anymore, and you may want to keep the tube straight or with a long curve to the "Y". What, didn't you download my "Y" Whyyyyyy! XD. I'm glad to help Makers. Bambu Lab and the MakerWorld are fantastic. Enjoy and keep having fun. PS thanks for the pictures

Had a big issue with the hub mounted in the stock location, the ptfe tube would rub agasint the ams power connector at the printer. Thanks to this awesome print my issue was resolved. Had to drill out the bracket some for the single out hole to slide easier but still works well. Used Bambu Pla Tough.

I see said the blind guy... Thanks to download it and rating it. You did a fantastic job printing it. Hey as far as I know the light control just draw power from the USB line, can you go from the machine to the hob the hob to the light control than go to the AMS? This would prevent some entanglement. You got a nice setup. Also you can make a groove under the base plate to have the wires a bit better managed.

Nice setup. Be careful, those blue hose are not likely to be PTFE (Teflon). Teflon can't be colored. It white or milky white at the most. You did an excellent job printing-it. Thanks for downloading it and giving feedback. I do appreciate it. I invite you to look at my other solutions for BBL's little corks.

Mon clavier n'as pas d'accent ni the correcteur d'ortograph... Merci encore.

Nice printing job. This is PETg, I assume; it is clean and smooth. I'm not a big fan of gray, but that looks good. Thanks for downloading it and giving feedback. I do appreciate it.
