Description

Fast and easy to print Gridfinity Base for Ikea Alex Drawer (36x70 cm). The printfile contains 5 plates with all necessary parts for 1 drawer.

If your looking for bins, I've an ultimate collection for that.

    • 23x Connector (22 needed + 1 spare) optional

PLA printtime: ~3:55h and 116,9g material (single color)

PETG printtime: ~4:25h and 115,0g material (single color)

 

I recommend to put the 2 small grids and the spacer in the back of the drawer.

The grid can be printed in PLA or PETG. I recommend 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height.

A1 mini Edition:

I've included a profile for all A1 mini user out there. Basically you'll need three 4x4-Grids and three 3x4-Grids. The Spacer is cut in half, so it fits the print plate. You don't need to glue them together. Just use some connectors. The connectors are optional. You just need them if you don't fill the drawer space all with bins.

Good model. I recommend cleaning your build plate prior to printing the small connector pieces.

Hi, this tolerance is normal. You'll need id for the 2 screws in the sidewalls. Thats why the spacer is only for the long side. As soon you put bins in the fields next to the screws you will notice why you need some space.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Uploaded picture could show an empty grid, but it would be pontless as the one that is the most important here how it holds various other gridfinity models and as you can see, it's perfect.

Printed without issue. Slowly printing bins for it now as I figure out how I want to organise my hobby tools.

What can I say, works like a charm. Had a few print errors because i forgot to fill the area with glue. - then it releases easily. But points for keeping it low on material, and as thin as you have. The snaps are tight and require a fair bit of force, but work like a charm when they've been added. Thanx

wurde mit Sunlu Meta PlA und Generic settings gedruckt. beim ersten Versuch gab es etwas Probleme, kam beim zweiten Mal jedoch ohne Probleme raus. sitzt 1mm etwas zu eng an den Stirnseiten, so dass es sich etwas wellt und erhöhrt. habe deswegen etwas doppelseituges Klebeband zum fixieren genutzt. man kann natürlich auch etwas nachfeilen.

Sunlu Meta PLA ist im vergleich zu anderen zB PLA+ etwas flüssiger, daher kann es passieren, dass Toleranzen nicht ganz eingehalten werden. Dazu kommt das das Holz vom Ikea jetzt auch nicht ganz genau ist. Bei mir passt es super in die eine Lade, die drunter wellt es sich auch leicht. aber spätestens wenn die ersten sachen drin sind, legt es sich wieder

Grid is very nice and fits perfect. I would recommend PLA, parts printed in PETG turned out not as great.

Very good model and easy to print. I needed to cut off 2mm off of the spacer using a negative part to prevent the gird from bending upward. Also there should be 2 more connectors (3 if you want a spare).
