Description

Base adapter for Ikea Kapplake by RyuDragon

This one is for myself and all the Zelda fans, I designed this to be printed without any supports and everything threads together buttery smooth. This resembles the electric battery that can be found in the shrines throughout the game.

If you like this please give a 👍🏼 even if you don't download this, it'll help others discover it. Follow for more to come!

Assembly is easy, follow my disassemble gif in reverse, it's more fun that way 😏

Designed to perfectly fit the official Bambu LED Lamp Kit 001, although, you can also find similar light of the same size puck on places like Amazon.

Click here for Lamp Kit from Bambu Don't forget to print the diffuser discs, otherwise it'll be too bright! 🕶️ There are 3 different thickness diffuser discs for different lighting effect, print them in your favorite colors! It could be anything, no need to buy an rgb light puck, but of course you can if you want, you do you.

Every piece threads together smoothly. Only 1 part need to be multicolor, and only 4 color changes!

Print profiles are separated by color and material, I used marble PLA for the top and bottom bodies, clear PLA for the shade, and bronze silk PLA for the LED kit holder and the very top piece with the marble for the AMS.

PLA Marble

PLA Basic

PLA Silk

A note on the printing the shade, I've disabled infill for the main part with the patterns only and only has 1 0.8mm wall, the threads on tope and bottom have 3 walls and are pretty much solid, this is to reduce the “white specks” that can be seem because it's a translucent material. Don't worry, it's not delicate.

Polymaker (PolyTerra) Muted Green - I found it to match the in-game color well! And Bambulab Silk Copper. Fillamentum Crystal Clear for the shade. (Formfutura ColorMorph Blue+Green for the disc, but found it muted the light too much for my taste)

I love this model!! My photos came out really green and I'm not sure why. The light is more on the blue side albeit light teal. I'm probably going to print it again with different colors. I don't love how light the "marble" filament I used was. I love that all the parts come apart so I can reuse the parts I do like! I'm waiting for some yellow to come in so I can make more accurate diffusers for it. Thanks so much for creating it <3 Edit: Oops. I forgot to mention some small things. I used the linked remix of the base for the Ikea light but didn't like that the grey "feet" were now off the ground and a bit inaccurate to the game so I sliced off the bottom most diagonal-ish part and that is the piece that's in the photos. I wish I had taken a photo of the other for comparison but didn't think of it at the time. But cutting off the part that slants inward (I did have to file the cord hole to be a bit bigger to accommodate losing the slightly larger hole) makes it sit properly on the "feet" of the grey base ring when attached.

Looks quite nice, I always enjoyed the look of these batteries in game. I even bought the led kit just for that The shade printed quite well at full speed, even with my ancient transparent PLA. Only negative things is that the first print (top dual color) got underextrusion on the grey, but it was maybe because I didn't force bambu handy to use a PLA basic filament profile. And as a last note, I will take the time to thank you about the fact that you respect A1 mini owners (as one myself, I often come across things that should be printable on the mini but that creator forgot to select the printer in Bambu studio), and put out profile that they can use.

Nice design! Waiting on my light pucks. Had a couple of failures with the shade until I changed some of my settings. Besides what in the pictures, I changed my layer height & initial layer height to .1

thanks, check out my print profile for the shade, I’ve set it to no infill, 0.8mm inner and outer wall thickness and unchecked the setting that maintain vertical wall thickness. this way, I found that prints the shade the smoothest. also, you have the top and bottom ring installed backwards 🙂

After spending a long time looking for the right colors and fiddling with various colored diffuser discs and one filament rendering my printer useless for some time, I think I got pretty close, no? :3 Photo makes it look on the orange-y side but it's more of a fluorescent yellow in person. It was a combo of a translucent aqua, a translucent neon yellow, a pearlescent neon yellow, and a pale silk yellow to get it close to the right color. Thanks again for this model! This is my re-print after being unhappy with the colors I printed my first model in.

I finally did photos! Filaments used: eSun Marble, eSun Glow in the Dark Blue, Bambu Lab Metal Iridium Gold Used the Ikea Kapplake lamp instead and did a remix for the base (you can find it linked in the description or on my user profile)
