EDIT:  Seeing the success and the various positive feedback for this object, I decided to share the source files to allow anyone to make their own modifications and customizations, they are loaded in the RAW section together with the STL files, now there are the STEP files

I use a cheap cob led with wifi remote. but is possible use any type of light i design a cover base to eventually use to fix other type of light.

looks amazing! thanks for sharing! only thing may be to print the outer big part with supports next time cause the hole in the middle was a bit of a mess without supports. but works for me 👍🏻

fantastic color, I will probably do it this way too, I was studying the integration of a slot for a digispark chip to be able to control the RGB LEDs with FastLED or Adafruit. As soon as I'm finished I'll post the variant of the cap with the housing of the components. For the moment I have decided to share the source files of the project to allow everyone to customize any piece without too much difficulty

Very cool design! I printed it and want to set it up with the LED inside. Can you post or link that LED disk you're using that fits with the design? I would love to order that same one if possible or something similar. All I have found on Amazon are LED strips that I would have to fit in a different way. Thanks!

Purple traslucent Petg for the internal cube, and black matte PLA for external part. In the photos that i post i used White PLA for external part, but only i painted metallic black. In the photos I posted I used White PLA for the external part because I have a lot of it and the idea was to then paint it metallic black like the finish on a car. I still have to finish it. Then it depends on what finish and effect you want to create with white PLA, the light still shines through a little, I liked a clear break but even with white it's not bad.
