Description

Case for a Raspberry Pi 5 with a Pimoroni NVME base fitted. When fitting the RPI and NVME base in the case use the included silicon dots from the Pimoroni parts package stuck to the bottom of the NVME Base as standoffs.

Based on Adafruit Pi 5 case, stretch slightly to fit the NVME base and added the RPi logo.

CPU Cooling slots aligned for official Raspberry Pi Active Cooler

Probably a dumb question, but is this case supposed to snap together? The preview and what loaded in Orca slicer show the two sections don't fully align to clip together. I don't have a Bambu printer, so used Orca slicer to open the project and then switched the printer back to my own. Printed fine other than not snapping together.

You are correct, the top cover is meant to snap into place. The clips were in the wrong location on the top cover. I've updated the print profile putting the clips in the right place and it now snaps together. Thanks for letting me know.

Prints well, and my Pi5+ NVMe fits. I kinda wish there’d be some alignments inside the case for the boards to fit into snuggly, but beggars can’t be choosers :) I appreciate that you made a case for this pretty specific setup.

Suggestion. Making an optional top cover that is about 10mm taller and moving the fan opening back and over about 10mm each way would open up the possibility of using the Waveshare PoE HAT (F) along with the Pimoroni NVME. The 10mm increase in height would bring the GPIO pins about level with the top of the case in addition to clearing the PoE HAT. Thanks.

The SD card position is too low about 5mm and slightly shifted right about 2-3 mm where it would be a better match.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look to adjust the model. I actually don't use the SD card and booted from a USB thumb drive to install to the NVME.

Looks great and everything fits, but you need to lower the snap clips on the sides of the top. They are too high and the case doesn't snap close the way the original does.

Thanks for the feedback. I adjusted the clips on the top and it should now snap together. I’ve updated the print profile with the revised top cover.
