Garden Dibber

Ideal for planting seeds, bulbs and cuttings, this attractive garden dibber is an excellent tool for keen gardeners.

Features:

You can use this tool for making holes in which you can pop in plants raised in modules.
Draw shallow lines on your beds in the surface compost. These lines along a bed will guide your plantings and ensure they are in straight rows.
A further use is spacing. Use the dibber laid on its side to measure a perfect and consistent spacing for your plants, fruits or vegetables.
Markings every 2cm, up to 20cm

A top tip when dibbing holes is to rotate the dibber as you withdraw it upwards. This makes for a clean hole with little compost sticking to the surface of the dibber.

really useful, but 8% infill looks to me a bit too weak in dry soil.

What is the best way to print this with a different color in the number/indicator marks? I'm using PETG and trying to add color in those indentations just causes a blob of color instead of just a bottom layer of color. I didn't paint the indentation sides, just the back of the indentation.

Hi, The simplest and most efficient way to paint the indicators is by layer. The same way as the stripey print profile included. The other way would be to just paint the number indentations (I think like you're describing) but this wouldn't paint the entire section, just the numbers themselves. This also takes a lot of time and filament waste. The only way to achieve completely separated colours at each level would be to print the dibber vertically and paint by layer, or to manually paint the exterior faces at each level. Printing it vertically would add a lot of strength issues though, and just painting the exterior faces would take a considerable amount of print time and wasted, flushed filament.
