I’ve crafted these DIY Plant Protector Caps to help protect our young plants from the elements. These transparent covers are made with clear or translucent materials, allowing you to “watch” your seedlings thrive while keeping them safe. I've set the wall thickness at 0.8 mm to ensure durability and provide room for scaling, so you can adjust the size to meet your needs. For the stakes, I used durable ASA, but you can also use PETG or ABS for a good balance of stability and flexibility—other materials like PLA could work but may not be as resilient. The stakes come in various lengths, perfect for both balcony planters and garden beds. Keep in mind, scaling hasn’t been tested yet, but the design is adaptable for different plant sizes.
