This is based on Gorrilla_parts design which I really love. Only problem for me was ease of accessing the drill bit's to change etc.
Photo's shown prior to attaching boot brush to base. (Boot brush now appears to be easily available from amazon).
Made for X-Carve, although fit's fine on an Aussie XYZ-Carve.

To give access to router bits - I split the base plate into two, allowing the front component to slide out and be removed. I added some stabilising runners to it to ensure it stays lined up.
Can either hold the front in place with simple rubber band, or tighten the two small bolts.
I slightly thickened/extended and opened up the left/right retaining arms to allow removal of front and ensure strength was maintained.
Also minor changes to original bolt hole sizes to accommodate bolts I had at hand (shouldn't affect anything).
