Description

Created in Fusion 360 and blender. Realistic in most ways possible. Model is cut in half to fit on a Bambu build plate. Only the front half of the Meg needs supports, ON BUILD PLATE ONLY, or you will never be able to remove them from the mouth. The mouth does not need supports in any way.

great print. This is the first time I’ve ever printed a cut model this one doesn’t have key holes to match up. Remember to set support to build plate only so there is no support in the mouth. I printed this one on the X1C.

I tried adding keyholes to it, but the tolerances were sometimes too tight and it would leave a gap between the two pieces. So I figured I’d just use a quick setting glue and line it up very carefully. Works 99% of the time. Thanks for the review!

Whenever I open the file in Bambu Studio it puts it on 2 separated plates. What did I do wrong? Look photo

Yes that's correct. Its on two separate plates on purpose

For some reason my tail piece warped on the base - maybe too much heat - so there is a gap that needs filling, but overall the model is amazing. Some locators would have been nice as I am not very good at lining up whilst glueing.
