it works perfect!  I'm using the 3 wall model and it printed great and works beautifully.  I'm using it with my A1 but also sometimes with my A1 mini.  Spool rotates great and didn't unravel accidentally.  it's perfect. thank you

3 wall version works perfectly. No need for more wall layers or ball bearings.

the original spool holder uploaded by this designer is the best there is.  but when i received the ReRapper 3kg spools they didn't fit on the original spool model.  the reprapper hole is only about 34mm, and so i modified the spool holder shaft in bambu studio down to 32mm.

so i reduced the shaft diameter and works great!  and it's still really strong.  I uploaded this skinny shaft model as a new A1 printer profile, but this model should work on P1 and X1 printers too.

0.2mm layer, 6 walls, 8% infill &nbsp;FEEL FREE TO DROP THESE DOWN - it's too sturdy with those settings, there is definitely room for a quicker print.

Tried these settings with leftover filament and it's still plenty strong - less than 7oz

Hello -This spool holder has a 32mm spool shaft rod to accomodate 3kg spools having the smaller holes.&nbsp;I loved this spool holder for my 3kg spools, but when I received my RepRapper 3kg spools that only have a 34mm spool openning I could not fit the RepRapper spools on the original spool holder.&nbsp;The spool shaft has 8 walls while the rest of this holder has 3 walls.&nbsp;I wasn't sure if this is a profile upload or a remix.  I didn't change very much so I think this is simply a printer profile upload.  Everything I changed was done in Bambu Studio and not in a CAD.&nbsp;Thank you to the original designer, this is still the best spool holder I believe.&nbsp;BennyBoots

PETG 32mm shaft - 0.2mm layer, 8 wall shaft, 4% infill

Couldn't find a simple ‘print and go’ model for large spools so I made this one. it's way too sturdy at 16.9oz (current slicer settings) so feel free to drop the infill or wall count. I have only tested it on Polymaker's 3KG spool but it works great and there is no drag/extrusion issues. Ready to be used out of the printer. &nbsp;NOTE: Works great for regular spools too &nbsp;&nbsp;
