Description

My 2x2 brick Square Fidget 🙂

Not much to say… just print and share your prints and what you've build with it 😁

The brick part was optimised for 3D printing and extensively tested to work with original bricks. Tested as well with several PLA filaments. It works very well.

Checkout as well some of my other designs

Additional Notes:

Most people normally do not put a 1x1 in the middle hole in the bottom part and is not easy to make it work in 3d printed parts but I've tried as much as I could to make it work without losing the strength. I found that for most of my Filaments 0.06 in X-Y hole compensation works.

I left it as 0 in the profiles because the best is really to put other type of bricks, 2x2, 2x1, etc…

Important: Proper Printer calibration is quite important otherwise print may not work at all. If it doesn't work for you please calibrate your printer and/or make sure filament is dried… stringing may bond the different pieces.

Thanks. The failed one is a first layer adheasion issue, I suggest to calibrate the printer (flow, zoffset, etc..) and clean bed.

Fun toy but the rings can get detached, not sure how to avoid that and still keep it square though so I think it's as perfect as can be.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the main challenge was to keep the height equal to the original lego brick... If i could make it a bit higher then it would be enough to avoid it detaching. I've also tried few iterations of gaps between rings and If I reduce more then this the effect disappears almost.
