Description

A print in place design of the 3D pin art toy, traditionally made with steel nails and wooden board. Any object underneath will push up the pins to create an impression on the top face. Very fun to handle.

The print profile consists of 171 pins, and total 85x126x40mm in size.

The large number of pins increase likelihood of some coming loose during print. Please use glue on build plate. I will also included a repair pin profile to replace badly printed pins.

There is a larger version that exceeds MakerWorld slicing time and can only be a Step file include here as raw. Please download the raw file and slice yourself.

Nice mnice model but one cylinder didn't print well and broke immediately after removing it from the plate, another one fell off after a day of use (my fault :D). However, it is a beautiful model, very relaxing and satisfying

I made the smaller one turned out great. I did have one pin come loose but no failure. I took an individual pin and sliced it and added a snap connector to fix it.

Printed absolutely perfect. 4mm nozzle, All default settings with Bambu lab PLA Basic Blue. I’m going to try the big version soon.

Missing Model Parts:PETG purple didn’t work. PLA grey sparkle did. one pin became unstuck, stopping the print and melting it to adjacent plastic allowed the job to resume successfully.

first of all. I didn’t copy anyone’s design. this toy has been around for ages. I just made a design that can be printed nicely. secondly that link doesn’t work. I’m not sure what you are referring to.

oh I just saw you had a design of the same game. called a very different name. it did not show up when I was searching prior to me designing this. One major difference is your design is a standard square grid while mine is staggered. mine also has 4 legs. different number of pins as well, that wouldn’t count as copy.
