The Jort Boy Bottle Tool design was directly inspired by the world famous Yopener! This version is a larger beefier version of the Yopener!. This model comes in right-handed and left-handed versions since the finger grooves are only on 1 side. Even if you print one of these I highly recommend supporting the original creator’s design at https://www.etsy.com/shop/YOpeners. Plus, if you are printing this, you are probably really into craft beer and should own a YOpener regardless. If you don’t, please consider purchasing one and reading their story. I’m in no way affiliated with YOpeners, but they were the primary inspiration for this project. As such, this design carries a non-commercial license. That said, I decided to make a similar style opener design that I could customize for my friends in the craft beer community.

It’s a pretty straight forward print, but does take some time to get through all of the filament changes. Assembly is required for the finished product and it requires a few items for assembly. I highly recommend printing in PETG for the added durability. I’m sure PLA+ would work, but I think the wear and tear will take a toll on the opener and cutter overtime.
