Kemogao - Animegao/Kig style Fursuit head base

This was modeled around my own head as reference:
About 21 in / 53.5 cm circumference
About 9 in / 23 cm from top of head to chin
It should have PLENTY of wiggle room for larger heads and fans at it's default print size, but do consider it's scale before printing in case you need to make it larger or smaller.

NOTE ON SCALES:
This head has been exported from Blender, there may be issues with object scaling in your slicer software.
If parts appear to be microscopic, please try to scale them up by 1000%
Screenshots of the small print bed version pieces (for v5 at least) show each piece with their correct X Y Z dimensions in Cura Slicer to use as a guide.

When printed at 100% scale and assembled, the head should be:
HEIGHT: 10.5" / 26.5 cm tall 
WIDTH:  10" / 25.5cm
NOSE BRIDGE WITDTH: 3" / 8cm (Distance between the eye holes. IMPACTS VISION OUT OF THE HEAD)
DEPTH:  10.4" / 26.5cm (measured from bridge of nose between the eyes to the back of the head)
Exterior CIRCUMFERENCE of assembled print: 82.5 cm. / 32.25"

SHOULD I SCALE DOWN?
Maybe.
I modeled this head based around my own head form.

EXAMPLE MEASUREMENTS from my own head:
Head Height: 9"/23cm measured from the top of the head to the bottom of the chin (with jaw closed)
Head Circumference: 22"

Compared to the roughly 31" inch circumference of the interior of the Kemogao head I have plenty of wiggle room, especially ont he sides. The truly important things to note for a good fit/visibility is your head length, from the top of your head to the bottom of your chin. And your eye spacing.

By default the bridge of the nose of the Kemogao head is about 3" inches, this is usually an area that will be entirely covered in fur.
Test visibility by holding a piece of paper cut to 3" wide, (height doesn't matter but taller is better) about 3-4 inches from your eyes (or 1/2 to 1" inch from the tip of your nose) This is a rough approximation of the center bridge of Kemogao's nose, and where you will be looking through the eyeholes.
Most of your vision will be peripheral, and/or you will likely need to favor one eye of the suit while peering out of the eye mesh.
If your eyes are set closer together, you can try scaling the head down by a few % for better front-facing visibility. Just make sure that the interior of Kemogao's head is always at least a few cm if not 0.5-1" inch larger than your own so you can still open your mouth to speak and drink through a straw. If you want to scale the head for better vision, you can shrink it on the horizontal axis (This is likely the X axis but may depend on your slicer or 3D modeling software of choice) to squeeze the head thinner, bringing the front facing eye holes closer together to improve your vision. If you want to continue to shrink the head to fit far more closely to your skull, you will need to remove the "lower jaw" of the kemogao head to allow for a but more jaw movement. But it depends entirely on your needs. Most users will not want/need to scale down to that degree.

I would suggest keeping Kemogao's external height measurement about 0.5" to 1" inch greater than your own head's height. You might be able to squeeze by if you make if 0.25" an inch larger if you REALLY want to avoid a "bobble headed" look and are comfortable with not being able to fully open/extend your jaw while wearing the head. I do not know enough about suiting to comment on this. My own personal test Kemogao was printed at 100% scale, and is VERY ROOMY for my 9" long 22" circumference head.

For example, I could physically fit into the SMALLER version of Kemogao, which might give me better forward facing vision because the eyes will be closer together, I will still a bit of room on the sides of my head but I will not be able to open my jaw very far if at all because the head is about equally WIDE as it is TALL. The default head is 10.5" tall, the small version is 9.25" tall. My actual human head is 9" tall. That gives me under 0.25 of an inch to be able to open my mouth/jaw, assuming I leave out padding on the top entirely. Do what you would feel most comfortable in!

MEASURING AND SIZING FOR YOUR HEAD:
I HAVE NOT TESTED THE FOLLOWING. But it should work in theory. Kemogao is sort of a "one size fits all (adults with an head length of 8-10" tall) head.
I NEVER recommend scaling Kemogao UP unless your head is 9.5" tall or greater.
(In which case you may want to try scaling it on the height axis (Usually Y but depends on your slicer/software) as scaling up CAN cause you to lose forward facing vision.
The easiest fix there would be to tweak the eyes in 3D editing software like blender or scale the entire model and all of it's parts on the horizontal axis to squish the eyes closer together. But that can cause a "Stretched" look to the head depending on how greatly you're scaling it.

EXAMPLE SCALING:
Kemogao's eyeholes are 3" inches or 8cm far apart from each other at 100% scale.
If you want to improve vision further, you can scale the head down. At the default scale there is ample room for interior foam padding to adjust the fit, or install fans, assuming your head is similar in size to mine (9" tall and 22" circumference)

My head is 9" tall (or 228.6mm) so the minimum scale of Kemogao I would print for myself is about a 9.5" (241mm) to 10" (254mm) tall head. (Maaaaaaaybe even scale down to 9.30" if I really wanted to try that out.)

Kemogao's default height is ABOUT 10.5" (or 266.7mm).
I want to print Kemogao scaled down to 9.5" (241mm) for my head.
I have to find the scale factor/percentage.

For that I am just using this: https://www.digitaltaxidermy.co.uk/scale-converters
Convert from 266.7mm to 241mm
Scale Factor: 0.904
Percentage: 90.4

So in my slicer software I will change the default 100% value to 90.4% of all pieces that make of the head. This will print Kemogao at 90.4% scale, a bit smaller than it's original full size scale. Resulting in a Kemogao head that would measure about:

Height: 9.5" / 24.1cm / 241mm
Width: 9.04" / 23cm / 230mm
Depth: 9.4" / 23.8cm / 238mm
Nose Bridge Width: 2.84" / 7.23cm / 723mm

Version 5 "Elegoo Cut" SMALL VER.:

When printed at default scale:
EXTERIOR MEASUREMENTS:
9.25" height / 9.4" width | 23.5cm height / 24cm width
INTERIOR MEASUREMENTS:
22 cm diameter interior / 27" circumference

NOT INTENDED FOR AVERAGE WEARERS! It should be a scale suitable for anyone with a smaller head no longer than 8" or 23cm in length MAX from the top of their head to the bottom of their chin with minimal room to be able to almost if not fully open their mouth/jaw. Intended for children, & possibly smaller adults but ALWAYS measure your wearer first!

Minimum Print area size: 143mm x 90mm x 175mm OR 5.6" x 3.5" x6.4"

Standard-Small Print Bed options:
- Face Parts: 7 pieces total
- Headback Parts: 5 pieces total

Large print bed Options: NONE Please use version 4 if you want only a front and back part printed on a large printer.


Same model as ver. 4 but slightly edited:
1. Some holes have been filled in to add surface area for glue when assembling.
2. Parts have been re-cut to fit inside of an Elegoo Mars build area (143mm x 90mm x 175 mm)
3. A SMALL size has been added. (Should fit heads that measure 23cm of shorter (may restrict jaw movement if worn by heads 23cm or longer.)
Please see included images for each piece's size as different slicing software loads them in at different scales.

Introducing "KemoGao"! A kigurumi inspired fursuit head base & My first 3D modeled fursuit base.
It features large eyes & a very short & wide muzzle meant to mimic anime style creature faces that are closer in looks to "Klonoa" vs. standard kemono style faces with a small protruding muzzle.

Named after Animegao アニメ顔 ("Anime Face") style kigurumi and also a play on "Gao" being both "face" 顔 and the sound "がお" a wolf makes. "Kemo" as a shorthand for "Kemono" being "Japanese style" furry. Becoming "Kemogao".
