If you like to use a little too much force when setting wooden pegs, like me, you can use these caps to hide your crime scene and protect the wooden peg from moisture and aging too quickly.

Depending on how badly the post top is demolished, I have a 72mm and a 77mm version, but it can be scaled as needed. The caps are attached with a 4 mm screw. I recommend PETG, ABS or ASA for outdoor use.
