Description

I was looking for a design that was simple, but looked good. There were designs here on MakerWorld, but there were a few problems with them that I didn't like. Most importantly is that they didn't have a simple, but nice design, the design did not come with a water hole at the bottom, and the designs didn't provide options in which you could either place a container with your plant into the pot or directly place the soil inside the pot. So I decided to make my design that provides a simple but nice design, ways in which you can place your plant inside the pot, as well as a water hole and a tray to catch the water.

This design gives you the ability to either put the soil directly into the pot or to place a container within the pot that holds your soil. Also, this design has a drain at the bottom of the pot that allows the water to exit and enter the tray that stores excess water. (The tray has a maximum capacity of 75ml) Lastly if you place the soil directly into the pot there is a option to place a mesh that can hold the soil and let the water filter to the bottom.

Dimensions:

  1. Pot: The opening has a circumference of 81 mm and height is 89.5 mm
  2. Tray: The circumference of the tray is 105 mm, a height of 15 mm and a capacity of 75 ml of water
  3. Mesh: The circumference of the mesh 79.5 mm and the height is 3 mm

Note:

  • If you have a plastic container that holds your soil and can fit within the pot nicely it's NOT necessary to print out the mesh.
  • I think it's best to either print this design in PLA MARBLE or BASIC WHITE PLA.

looks great! Printed on an A1 Mini. made a few modifications: I hid the z-seam along one of the lines I reduced the thickness of the mesh to 1mm I changed the line height to 0.2mm
