Update 1 :Now also in full color!

Update 2: Fixed the eyebrows being too thick.

Update 3 [V2]: Changed the Infill type to Gyroid to fix the supports breaking off at the height of the arms

Ready to print Broly Bust

Tree Supports are pretty hard to remove around the hair, i would suggest to use support filament or remove the supports with a hairdryer and tweezers. Changed some settings so it is overall easier to remove the supports.

v2 for me still broke supports on right arm, paused it and glue it, hoping it works, this is the 2nd time it fail in the same arm

thanks for the feedback and sorry that happened to you. have you checked if your build plate is clean enough? the problem with v1 was that the infill type would cause a collision of the nozzle and the infill. after I changed it to gyroid that did not happen anymore so that should not be the problem. could you please check if you see what else could have happened? could you send me a photo of the failed prints ? maybe I can tell what happened then. thank you.

bed was clean since i always clean it with dawn and add glue for every print, the first one i did the supports with trees, this 2nd time i did normal supports and it made it pass more layers before it went all bad, i added glue and was able to fix that part but now i can see the anterior part edge is gonna be a problem because it missed a connection on the support, for this specific new problem on the 2nd print im guessing its due to being normal support, also im printing at 0.8 and made the object to 9.5in on the X axis i think, essentually as big as it would fit my x1c bed, also using bambu grey pla, i have a timelapse of the 1st fail but looks like i cant upload a video here, the 2nd print is still printing but i can see its going to fail, and since im making it big each print is near 800g of filament which at this point idk if its worth it which sucks since broly is my fav character

update 2: looks like adding glue to the new issues has saved it, now to just wait n see, this is a 3 day print, got 47hrs to go

danke für das Feedback! kannst du mir eventuell zeigen was genau passiert ist ? Die Supports (insbesondere am Arm) sollten eigentlich ziemlich stabil sein und dürften sich nicht lösen. Hast du mal überprüft, ob deine Druckplatte eventuell gesäubert werden muss?

Die Druckplatte war sauber eingestellt. Leider keine Aufnahmen vorhanden. Warping begann nicht am Druckbett, sondern oben an der Stützstruktur. Erste Schichten des Arms wurden nicht ordnungsgemäß aufgetragen. Vermutlich zu geringer Abstand zwischen den Schichten. Düse stieß wiederholt an Ecken des Arms an, was zum Abreißen der Stützstrukturen führte.

Too small, supports are a pain to the @ss. Nice print though.

thanks for the rating! I completely agree with the supports, I’m working on a solution for that rn, hopefully it soon won‘t be that hard anymore :)

Realy Nice design. Some supports are difficult to remove from the hair, but that's normal, they are sayans 😉. Thx for the print, one more in my collection.
