Description

I made this after buying a echo dot 5th gen with clock. My old mounts would have the echo's face downwards allowing for easy access to the buttons but with this model that wasn't going to work, instead of buying a new mount I decided to make one.

this features slots at the bottom so the LED ring can shine through

Pass-Through Install

M4.5 (5/32in) screws are recommended for mounting. 20mm(3/4in) length should be plenty depending on your anchoring system.
If your anchor requires the screw to go further in to fully engage, purchase new ones and add 10mm(3/8in) from your original screw length.

Corner Wall Mount Install
anchors may not be needed for this version as 99% of the time studs meet in the corners of walls. I recommend wood screws for install.

Infill	At least 15%

Echo dot fits perfect.. I added a plate to use adhesive tape.

Great Model which is pretty good to print. I also like the design. Also i would like to share my adaption which has more space behind the power plug, because my plugs are only fitting if i bend them pretty hard.

I printed with normal(auto) supports in latest BBL Studio on a P1P, textured plate, using eSun PLA+ with custom temp settings, upgraded nozzle to hardened steel 0.4 printing at 0.2.

Nice print. Could do with a couple mm more depth or space for the cable where it bends. A corner fit remix would be fantastic too. As is I have 2 happy boys with their Echo Dot Clocks on the wall.

I will look into this. I didn't want to have it coming off the wall too much but I understand it is a tight fit. I will work on a corner version thats a great idea! Thank you for your feedback

I have added a corner version and updated the flat wall version for better space, stability and ease of install
