Description

this adapter will allow you to perfectly fit your spools onto the original support of the a1mini, for sunlu filaments print their original adapter uploaded here on makerworld, the housing is interlocking so a minimum of pressure must be applied to put it in position. but it will solve the problem of the spool getting stuck on the Z axis during printing.

thanks for the great print. However it did not work for my new A1 mini. they must have enlarged the end of the spool holder please see photos. **Update** after playing with it a bit I slide it on from left to right and had to give it a hard squeeze. Pop it was on. Happy Holidays.

Hey! Can you tell the diameter of your spool holder for others to know?

It's a really tight fit, you'll have to use both hands to snap it on. You might even hear a crack, but it won't break.

Printed in PETG. Made a small crack when I inserted the roller, but it's in the last thread. If I ever re-print, I'll do it in PLA.

Same on mine. I used bambu lab Pla matt pink. But my print is still works on it without glue.

I didn't upload my profile because of the small crack, but it looks like it might crack no matter what filament you use.

With ultrasonic cutter, I have welded cracked part and eased green spot as the pressure from thread of the nut(red circled area) and bambu ext spool’s plange caused the crack.

no,根本不能用,太差了用点心,前面太小了。

我剛開始也這樣應為,用力壓下去就行了。

我還壓了幾次才成功,我用petg打印,可能比較有彈性,PLA的話不知怎樣。

I increased the size of the threaded portion 103% and the size of the cap 104% based on some comments. It snapped on smoothly and snugly, printed in Bambu natural PETG Basic on a 3-day-old A1 Mini. The cap screws on easily with just enough bite to stay secured. Used the "0.28mm Extra Draft @BBL A1M" profile.

Works well, does the job, but tight tight tight! Hard to get on the spool holder it's so tight, then very hard to screw on it's so tight. Nothing broke though, and the wear will loosen things up over time. Thank you for the model. Solves a problem for sure.

My first larger print, all went well some tiny amounts of stringing towards the end. The adapter helped reduce the tension on the filament, without it i could hear the strain on the filament, and the printer had to travel down once in a while to release the strain. Used the larger version still a tight fit has to click into place. Used Basic PLA.
