Description

This is V2 of my Tremor chassis for the SCX24 that I designed. It is a low CG-style chassis / Comp chassis.
*If you are interested in selling 3D prints of this model please contact me*

There are 2 versions of this chassis. A flat skid version and an angled skid version (5° angle). Make sure to print the correct battery tray for each version.

I designed this with a brushed motor (030 and 050 size) and stock trans in mind. Aftermarket transmissions/ motors may not fit as is. I'm counting on the community to remix this design to fit other combinations (furitek brushless, etc). There's a lot of room to easily fit everything needed for a brushless system I just don't have the parts to use as a reference.

I included the F360 file to make remixing easy.

Please post your makes!!!

WHAT TO PRINT:

  • Left and right half
  • Corresponding battery tray
  • Hood
  • Top
  • Skid Plate
  • 4x pins

Screws Needed:
14x 5mm (4 for the skidplate / 6 for the battery tray / 4 for the pins)
8x 10mm (to mount the links to the skidplate)
4x Any Size Screw (to mount the top and hood at the rotation point. 5mm - 10mm works best)

PRINT SETTINGS:

I recommend printing the hood, top, and pins vertically using brim ears. Battery Tray should be printed with the flat side down. Skidplate should be printed flat side down.

The left and right halves of the chassis can be printed on either side with no supports for the recessed holes. I used a trick to print small bridges instead of one flat side.

UPDATE:
Added 1mm and 2mm spacer for shocks. Some aftermarket shocks come with spacers already.

I have a question for you. Is it possible to make the chassis bigger to support a gas engine.
