KIS stands for Keep It Simple. Most of Y-Splitters share one fatal flaw, which is merge two tunnels into one creating a point (a triangle tip) that FDM printer simply can't print without blobbing up the point. The blobbed point can get in the way of filament tip, causing AMS error.
This design simply removes the triangle tip with a smooth rounded chamber that filament tip has no chance to get stuck. It uses minimum material and friction fit for PTFE tubes. Must use 4mm OD and 2.5mm ID PTFE tubes, and print it vertically.
Note: The two inlets have no tube stop, tubes can be inserted beyond the tube depth line causing issue. Use the tube depth indicator lines, do not insert tubes beyond the lines.
PETG 0.4 nozzle 0.20 Standard BBL profile. The key is to have a clean print, clean the nozzle prior printing if needed.
