Description

I took the Spin Cube and ran an experiment with nTop. I subtracted a gyroid unit cell pattern from it. The idea was simple: make the spinner cooler. But then, as I was at school, the spinner unexpectedly fell apart in my pocket. Outcome? A new creation: The Puzzle Cube. From a fun idea with the Spin Cube to this unexpected result, the journey has been interesting. Check it out!

I should let you know that it took me about another hour to put it back together, but it can be done with patience.

The "Delicate" model was the first decorative version of this model, and then after some testing, I decided to make the "Robust" iteration with thicker arm sections around the middle open ring.

Please print this model at a minimum of 215°C, it is a functional puzzle and I have found from experience printing at the likes of 200°C leaves the PLA too fragile for this use case.
