Matilda MK1 (A11) WWII British tank

From Wikipedia: The Matilda Mk I (A11) “is a British infantry tank of the Second World War. Despite being slow, cramped and armed with only a single machine gun, the Matilda I had some success in the Battle of France in 1940, owing to its heavy armour which was proof against the standard German anti-tank guns. However, it was essentially useless in an attacking sense, as its weak armament made it toothless in combat against enemy armour, and the tank was obsolete before it even came into service. The Battle of France was the only time the Matilda I saw combat. The tank was cheaply built as the British government wanted each of the tanks to be built on a very restricted budget in the build-up to the Second World War.”

I have reworked nearly all parts in the model...

Rivets added. The front axle housing is completely redesigned. The track have larger, now in-scale, teeth. Missing rivets now added to the turret, hull, and idler wheel. Missing bolts on drive sprocket now added. Commander’s periscope on turret accurately redesigned. Rear fenders are now a little chunkier (perhaps not totally in scale, but easier to print). Housing for the tow cable now added to the right side of the hull. Rear view mirror added. The tool clamps (molded on the tools) are more solid now to ease printing.

There are three variants of the turret: 1) no smoke launchers, 2) with spent smoke launchers, 3) with charged smoke launchers.

On the “tall” stowage bin version (a later version of the hull... ) the driver’s periscope is off-set to the driver's left. On the “low” stowage bin hull the driver’s periscope is now centered.

The model is 14 cm long and 6.5 cm wide.
