Description

The flowers are flat, your love is not! Just in time for Mother's Day!

Being “flat” these are a great option to pop in a bubble mailer with a card and send something sweet when fresh will just not do. Print up a bouquet that will last! Maybe your dear has severe allergies, or cat that won't stop at what will kill them! Or maybe you just want to show mom you're putting that engineering or design degree to work!

These were a lot of fun to design, build, and more to mix and match and invent new flower facsimiles!

Works great with AMS, but totally prepped for a single spool setup. File is split into 5 plates, one with just stems if you want to print those all in batch, and then a plate for each of the individual flower models with their original matched stem. 2 notes:

  1. CORNFLOWER STEM NEEDS A BRIM! everything else printed fine without for me. I actually printed those separate with a 5mm brim after a few spaghettis.
  2. Everything is mix and match 3mm x 5mm opening for stems except the lily of the valley, which is 3mm x 3mm. The rose stem has a wider notch to accomodate 2 layers of petals, but honestly, since the stems are tapered, I have been able to stack up layers on the tulip and daisy stems as well without petals being loose.

Please share photos of your prints. My little engineer who helped (who calls me “Mom”) wants to see!

Looks great! I used a little glue on this one to hold the petals where they overlap since my kids played with them a bit too much, please do let me know if you are able to get away without it!
